Who will do my anti-wrinkle treatments?
At Áda Aesthetic Medicine, all consultations, treatment plans and all treatments are done by our experienced aesthetic physicians. No “cosmetic or dermal therapists” or nurses are used at any Áda clinic.
Is there any downtime?
Most people are able to go back to their normal activities immediately. Neuromodulator injections do not require any anesthesia, and there will generally be no downtime following the treatment. Following the procedure, avoid rubbing or massaging the treated section of your face. Otherwise, the medication may inadvertently migrate to other areas. Finally, as with any injection, there is always a chance for bruising to occur.
How long do results last?
Individual results vary, though in general, neuromodulator will normally last for 3-4 months. Over time, the muscle action will begin to return and wrinkles may start to appear again. When this happens, another round of injections can be performed.
Am I a good candidate for anti-wrinkle treatments?
You should never use neuromodulator while you are pregnant or breastfeeding or if you are allergic to any of the ingredients in the injection. Australian law prohibits us from publishing the ingredients used online; however, these can be discussed during a consultation. Suitable candidates are typically in good general health prior to receiving the treatment.
Note: Australian law does not permit us to use prescription product names or ingredients on our websites. If you wish specific product names or details you can email us your request.
