Tattoos don’t have to be permanent

Remove unwanted tattoos, with laser tattoo removal

Unwanted tattoos can be a real nightmare! Accepting your body with unwanted art can be a bit of a challenge to say the least. Whether your tattoo was a spur of the moment decision, did not turn out the way you hoped or you simply no longer want it on your body, the unfortunate truth is that removing the tattoo will not be an overnight process. The good news, however, is that it is possible and that you do not need to settle for accepting an unwanted tattoo on your body. With laser tattoo removal at Ada Aesthetic Medicine, you can bid farewell to your ink.

How are tattoos removed?

The reality is that tattoos are a lot harder to remove than to put on. It is important you understand this before seeking removal in order to have realistic expectations. Removing your tattoo will likely require between two to twelve sessions (or more) depending on the tattoo.

Tattoos are removed using specific lasers. In order to remove the tattoo, the larger ink particles need to be broken up into pieces small enough for the white blood cells to remove. This is achieved by using laser technology that specifically targets the ink with a very short burst of high energy laser light. This very rapid absorption of light energy will split the ink particles into smaller pieces.  These shattered ink particles can then be picked up by your scavenger white cells and transported away through your lymphatic channels for removal from your tissues.

If you commit to regular appointments with Ada for this treatment, you will soon be free of your unwanted tattoo!
