It is our belief that everyone has the right to look their best and we are passionate about helping you achieve your desired results. We provide a variety of injectable treatments that are tailored to give you a solution to a range of cosmetic concerns.
Anti-wrinkle injections
Also known as neuromodulators, our anti-wrinkle injections are a simple and effective way of battling against the onset of ageing. These injectables are safe, naturally occurring purified proteins that relax a specific muscle region under the skin in order to halt the skin wrinkling excessively. This creates a serenity in the face that is almost instantly visible (from two to four days) and a smoother appearance for anywhere between three-five months after treatment. As mentioned previously, our injectable treatments and consultations are carried out by skilled, experienced doctors.
In terms of any side effects to anti-wrinkle injectables, there aren’t any long-term problems associated with the treatment. However, there is a risk that you may experience some minor bruising resulting from the injection itself. Additionally, it could happen that there is a temporary migration of the product into the adjacent muscles, but this is rare, and a short-term eye droop will disappear almost as soon as it appears. These injectables are sometimes called ‘lunchtime’ treatments because patients can have them done in a short period of time with little to no bruising following the procedure.
Where Should I Have Them?
Every patient will have a different set of expectations and desires from their injectable treatments, but common areas of concern are the frown lines of the brow, the forehead, and the ‘crow’s feet’ at the side of the eyes. Similarly, these anti-wrinkle injections can be applied to some of the creases in the lower face and upper sections of the neck. The same can be said of the eyebrows where it can create a subtle lift and the corners of the mouth that are prone to sagging. Dermal fillers can also be used alongside anti-wrinkle injections where there are deep creases present.
Dermal Fillers
Dermal fillers are a versatile injectable treatment that can be used to address a number of cosmetic concerns including the reduction of lines in the face, wrinkles, restoration or enhancement of volume in the lips and cheeks. The procedure is performed in-office, by experienced doctors and most patients don’t require any anaesthetic or skin testing to proceed.
Some of the most popular dermal fillers are made up of polysaccharide (sugar-based) hyaluron gels, others, use a dermal/collagen stimulator selected for their ability to volumes and contour the face. There has been a steady development of new skin fillers of late and this has resulted in a wider selection of products that provide better results. Whether it is the reduction of wrinkles, creases, depressed scarring or lip enhancement, our doctors will advise you as to which filler will give you the best results.
How Long Will They Last?
Dermal fillers can last up to 12 months or even longer, but it depends entirely on the patient’s metabolism and the treated area. We recommend fillers that are naturally occurring, they are popular due to their safety and their ability to produce a soft natural look that requires little or no downtime.
