Line and Wrinkle treatments Sydney NSW

“old age is so long that you should not start it early”  B. GROULTE

Over the last few years, several new non-surgical products and treatments have become available to remove facial lines and wrinkles.  This has greatly improved our ability to achieve natural results, with little or no downtime.

What lines and wrinkles are treated?

  • Most common is frown and forehead
  • Side of eye (crows feet) areas.
  • Other lines are top lip “bar code” lines
  • Outer cheek accordion lines
  • Bunny lines on nose
  • Lip creases

What is the best anti-wrinkle treatment?

The choice of treatments may vary depending on where the wrinkles are, how deep they are and your skin type.

The best treatment for you will require an assessment by our experienced doctors who will take a relevant medical history, examine your skin and also discuss your treatment goals before recommending a treatment plan.

What are the main treatments available?

Treatment options are from the 3 main injectable groups below:

Who will do my anti-wrinkle treatments?

At Áda Aesthetic Medicine, all consultations, treatment plans and all treatments are done by our experienced aesthetic physicians. No “cosmetic or dermal therapists” or nurses are used at any Áda clinic.

Is there any downtime?

Most people are able to go back to their normal activities immediately. Neuromodulator injections do not require any anesthesia, and there will generally be no downtime following the treatment. Following the procedure, avoid rubbing or massaging the treated section of your face. Otherwise, the medication may inadvertently migrate to other areas. Finally, as with any injection, there is always a chance for bruising to occur.

How long do results last?

Individual results vary, though in general, neuromodulator will normally last for 3-4 months. Over time, the muscle action will begin to return and wrinkles may start to appear again. When this happens, another round of injections can be performed.

Am I a good candidate for anti-wrinkle treatments?

You should never use neuromodulator while you are pregnant or breastfeeding or if you are allergic to any of the ingredients in the injection. Australian law prohibits us from publishing the ingredients used online; however, these can be discussed during a consultation. Suitable candidates are typically in good general health prior to receiving the treatment.

Note: Australian law does not permit us to use prescription product names or ingredients on our websites. If you wish specific product names or details you can email us your request.
