Five Ways To Enhance Your Facial Features

Cosmetic injectables can be used to address a wide range of facial concerns.

If you have noticed a loss of volume or unwanted wrinkles and lines on your face, you may be wondering if there is anything that you can do to reduce their appearance and generally enhance the overall look of your skin. The good news is that there are a number of options available. At the Ada clinic, we offer a comprehensive range of injectables. Read on to find out which one best suits your needs…

  1. Restore volume to your skin

If you are suffering from a noticeable loss of volume in your face as a result of lost facial fat, ageing, or illness, you might consider dermal stimulator fillers. The treatment is used to enhance volume in areas such as the cheeks and temples and works by stimulating the growth of dermal cells. It can take between six weeks to six months for the results of the procedure to be noticeable, but top-up treatments are generally only required after around two years.

  2. Address lines and wrinkles

Anti-wrinkle injections are a popular treatment and for a good reason — they can be used to remove excessive expression lines, smooth the skin and lift and reshape the eyebrows without the need for surgery. Many of our patients opt for anti-wrinkle treatments to address frown lines between the eyes, as well as crow’s feet at the side of the eyes. The treatment is relatively quick to perform, and although there is a small risk of bruising, most patients do not suffer from any severe side effects.

  3. Volumise and contour

One of the most popular cosmetic treatments currently available, dermal fillers can be used to resolve a number of issues, including lines and wrinkles, loss of volume caused by ageing, and scars caused by acne, trauma and surgery. Dermal fillers can be used on almost all areas of the face and typically produce a very natural-looking result. At the Ada clinic, we recommend ‘sugar’ based gels for this type of treatment as they generally don’t cause any long-term risks and can be reversed if any problems do arise.

  4. Lift and smooth

Neuromodulator injections, which are also known as muscle relaxant injections, can be used to lift and reshape the eyebrows, as well as lift and smooth the jawline. They are also often used for facial slimming purposes; in which case they work by reducing muscle mass at the side of the jaw. The formula that we use at Ada is made from a naturally-occurring purified protein. This formula is injected under the skin and can be used to treat areas such as the skin between the eyes, the forehead, and lines at the side of the eyes.

  5. Enhance the shape of your lips

If you would like fuller lips, you might consider a lip filler treatment. Lip augmentation with the use of dermal fillers works by filling out and reshaping the lips for a more voluminous and balanced appearance. If you choose to have lip fillers, you can rest assured that your treatment will be performed by a highly trained and experienced professional.
